LA
CASEMAG
La Case Mag, the quarterly magazine of the Museum of Black Civilizations, is intended to be both a receptacle and a compass: a retrospective look at the past three months, a highlighting of the major orientations of the museum and an opening towards horizons of critical reflection. Its name is inspired by the very architecture of the museum, designed in the image of the impluvium of Casamance, circular spaces where knowledge is gathered and shared. Each issue revolves around a thematic file, enriched by contributions from guest writers, thus offering a lively and engaged reading of the cultural and heritage dynamics at work. More than just a report, La Case Mag is a space of ideas and dialogue where the past illuminates the present.
